Well, I’m off to a pretty good start. I’ve been narrowing down what eBusinesses to start along with a lot of technical ’stuff’ to get them going. I have a tun of ideas that I would love to do and friends have contributed quite a bit. With all that info gathered up, I’ve set up a few ‘rules’ or ‘guidelines’ to implement in the final decisions. These would be;
I’d like to learn a few things along the way and I figure that if I do a business that I’m already familiar with, I’d just be doing a business that I’m familiar with! So each business I adopt into the project will have to be something I wouldn’t normally be doing or even thought of doing before. This puts me in a situation where I really have to key in on all the new technologies the net has to offer, develop my own skills to adapt to these new challenges.
I am a big fan of what’s happened with the internet over the past 5 or so years. From an open market of spamming, fly by night products, insane (but effective) marketing strategies, disorganized conent and the list goes on to an evolving community of solid information which is by far profitable but not just in a monetary value, also as the complex woven link based “thing” that on the front end is pushing you towards the information you need. I could go on about this forever but I’ll hold off for other entries as the ongoing development of the internet will be highly discussed here.
I know the people in my day to day life will read this rule at one point in time and crack up. The fact is, I’ve always been about the money. I probably will always be about the money. I can only imagine what Friday nights will be like. Their either going to take my jager’bombs away or force more on me. Now that I think of it, both scenarios could be beneficial! Ok for truths sake, I’m excited about this project and for me to actually build, market and maintain it (out of pocket) will add that extra challenge and I’m pretty confident that I can do it. So confident in fact that I’m going to
In end, I have a pretty good idea of what to do and I’ll share that later on.
